HBMS Membership

The purpose of the Humboldt Bay Mycological Society is to promote the enjoyment and appreciation of wild mushrooms through study and the exchange of information. Everyone who has an interest in wild mushrooms is welcome to become a HBMS member.

Your membership supports our scholarships, travel costs and honoraria for speakers, rental fees, initial fair costs, and hopefully even more as our membership grows! While our monthly meetings are open and free to all, as a member you also get:

• The HBMS newsletter

• Free participation in members-only field trips

• Pre-registration for HBMS workshops

• Free (and early!) entry to the annual Mushroom Fair

• Advanced ordering on fair merchandise

• To support the HBMS – our existence depends on your membership

Memberships renew each January and cost $15 for individuals, $20 for families, and $10 for students and seniors.
Lifetime membership is $185 for an individual and $240 for a family.
