Step into the enchanting world of mycology at the 47th Annual Mushroom Fair, hosted by the Humboldt Bay Mycological Society (HBMS), a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering education and appreciation for fungi. The annual Mushroom Fair is our primary fundraising event, with funds supporting scholarships and various educational programs throughout the year.
Join us for a day filled with food trucks, vendors, fresh mushroom displays, educational talks, workshops, and much more! Mushroom cultivation kits, books, art, and apparel will be for sale. The public is encouraged to bring mushrooms they would like to have identified (or photos of the top & bottom of the mushrooms).

Adults: $10.00
Students, Seniors (60+), Veterans, Kids 7-17: $5.00
Children 6 and under: Free

Your ticket includes:
Mushroom Displays: Hundreds of fresh local species arranged by taxonomy.
Raffle & Food Drive: Bring nonperishable food for donation to Food For People and earn up to 10 raffle tickets. Extra tickets sold help support scholarships and educational programs.
Vendors & Food Trucks: Shop mushroom growing kits, books, artwork, and enjoy delicious local eats.
Kids’ Scavenger Hunt: A fun way for kids to explore the fair and learn about mushrooms and nature. Free prizes available while supplies last.
Workshops & Talks: Learn about identification, cultivation, and more, all included with admission.
This year, all vendors are also members of HBMS! We are excited to show off our community’s talent.
